“Though a righteous man falls seven times, he will get up, but the wicked will stumble into ruin.”
As Acts 17:24-28 summarizes, God has appointed the place & time we live. He has knowledge of the mistakes we will & have made.
Yet, He chooses all of us for our own individual role in His plan.
He has choosen me for His work.
To play a vital & important role in His plan. Proverbs 24:16 serves to remind me that I will fall. I likely will fall more than once. In reality, I have fallen many, many times. If I stay alive, I will likely fail again & again.
I have to come to terms with that reality. It is difficult. Trusting God in my failure is a unique challenge. I don’t always feel up to the task.
Yet, God promises to give me strength. The strength for His will to be done in my life. I am not sure about the strength for my will to be done & it CAN be confusing to determine, exactly, what His will is & my own will is. Yet, that will not stop me from trying to trust deeper. To travel with God further.
To trust Him on the ladder that I climb towards the later years of my life, if I am so blessed to see them.
He HAS blessed me with a family. I have prayed for years to be married. To be given a family. I don’t always know exactly what to say, or what to do with my family.
Yet, one thing is for sure: I AM GRATEFUL
for the opportunity to have one.
With all this being said . . .
I will fail again.
I will fall again.
I will make mistakes, A-G-A-I-N.
Yet,
God Has Appointed ME
to this season, at this stage in my life, during this timeline in history.
that is a truth that I can embrace & trust.
