“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called,
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

Christmas can be a beautiful season.
For those with close family, it presents an opportunity to give gifts. Gifts for some are a tangible expression of love.
For those with little or no family, it presents an opportunity to embrace solitude. To pour deeper into developing an individual & personal relationship with God.
For those who lost family, it can quickly become a season of bitterness. A season to reflect on lost, on all that once was, but is NO MORE.
Regardless of the status of your family & the current status of your heart, Jesus has been given to all of Earth, as a Gift from God.
The government is built upon God’s shoulders. The government is subject to God.
God created the government.
God is OUR government.
The eternal ruler of all.
“Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God. So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad.
Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?
Do what is good, and you will have its approval.
For government is God’s servant for your good.
But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason.
For government is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong. Therefore, you must submit, not only because of wrath, but also because of your conscience.
And for this reason you pay taxes, since the authorities are God’s public servants, continually attending to these tasks.
Pay your obligations to everyone: taxes to those you owe taxes, tolls to those you owe tolls, respect to those you owe respect, and honor to those you owe honor.”
Christmas is under God’s authority.
Let us all take a moment to honor Our Creator: God, the Father & His Son, Jesus.
From whom all blessings flow.
“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
